Biography

Pablo was born in Oviedo on the 26th of December 1976. His first experience with a guitar came about in the summer of 1993 when he is sixteen years old. After a period of self-instruction that included a video by Michael Angelo, (the guitarist for Nitro) he decided to dedicate the majority of his time to the guitar. Initially, Pablo joined together with a group of friends to play cover songs, but when things became more serious he decided to join WarCry in 1996. Afterwards, he would form part of another local band Presto, with whom he recorded the demo 'Discípulos del Miedo' ('Disciples of Fear'). The highpoint for the band was when they had the opportunity to open up for Yngwie Malmsteen at the venue Quarto in Avilés.

During this period he attended IMT in Madrid where he mainly studied harmony.

After leaving Presto he got together with former members of Presto and WarCry to start a progressive rock project that would take the name Relative Silence. The first of the two CD's that were recorded did not have a title but contained three songs including an Iron Maiden cover. The second CD, recorded between December of 2001 and January of 2002, titled 'Mixture', contained four songs.

In January of 2001 he was called upon by Víctor and Alberto to collaborate on WarCry's CD. Upon becoming a permanent member of WarCry Pablo decided to end his participation in Relative Silence.

Throughout the years he has attended several classes taught by the pianist Joshua Edelman and the guitarists Chema Saiz and Joaquín Chacón.

Among the musical influences that have had an impact on Pablo are Dream Theater and Symphony X, and the guitarists John Petrucci, Michael Romeo, Paul Gilbert, Jeff Kollman, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen.

Lastly, Pablo combines his role in WarCry with working as a guitar instructor.
